On Sunday my host family took me to Switzerland; the Swiss Alps. It was only a two and a half hour drive. The view was stunning and there was snow. We went on a little walk and we went to an extremely old glacier tunnel. Unfortunately, my shoes are not the best for walking on snow with and it was rather slippery. Instead of walking like a normal person I slid, somehow managing to not fall over. There were lots of skiers on the mountain, some of whom were very good and were doing some small jumps.
It was a really good day out, I loved it. I particularly enjoyed it because I have only been to the snow a couple of times before.
On the way home we stopped for dinner at one of the restaurants my host family owns. I had one of the biggest lasagnes I have ever seen, it was scrumptious. By the time we got home we were all very tired but managed to stay awake to watch a couple of episodes of 'Supernatural' before going to bed.
