After a tearful goodbye to all of our friends in Freiburg, it was onto the train for an almost 7 hour train trip to Berlin.
The group has been very busy getting a taste of all that Berlin has to offer. So far we have taken in the following attractions
- Reichstag (German Parliament)
- Brandenburg Gate
- Jewish Memorial
- Potsdamer Platz
- Alexanderplatz (TV Tower, World Clock and Alexa shopping centre)
- Museums (Checkpoint Charlie, Topography of Terror, East Germany Museum, Pergamon Museum)
- East Side Gallery
- Ku'damm (Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche and shopping)
- A boat cruise along the Spree River
Our accommodation has been fantastic and very practical right next to the main train station.
As has been the case throughout the whole trip the students have conducted themselves wonderfully and have been excellent ambassadors for the school and our country.
